Orkney RFC have won Community Club of the Season in the 2024 Scottish Rugby Community Recognition Award for Caledonia North!

Play restarted and Orkney again advanced into the Huntly half, with our first try coming from the “Stronsay Express” Wilbur, making an impact playing as a crash 12 again. Conversion was missed, score 5-0 to Orkney.
RESULTS:
The U14s get an excellent win on the road while the scoreline in Falkirk belied a great performance by the U16s and the 1st XV progress to Round 2 of the cup against Lasswade after a brilliant home win!… Huntly 24-59 U14s Falkirk 46-19 U16s 1st XV 46-14 Aberdeen Grammar … and in the all import game, the Wasps beat the Ba bas 34-32

The match kicks off at 11:30 at Redcloak Rugby Pitches, Slug Rd, Stonehaven AB39 3SS. Meanwhile the 1st XV play Allan Glen’s RFC in Bishopbriggs on Saturday. The game kicks off at 3pm & will be streamed live on their YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@AllanGlensRFC On Sunday, the U16s welcome Cairhness RFC to Picky for the quarter-final of the Saltire Energy Boy's U16/U15 Caledonia Youth Bowl & Plate. The game will kick off at 1pm on the Centre Pitch
Third time lucky for the 1st XV team as they take on Dumfries Saints at Picky at 2pm on Saturday (Livestream), while the Dragons welcome West of Scotland to KGS at 14:30.

The internal players are in action in Dounby at 12:00 as the Over 30s take on the Under 30s - head along if you fancy a game! The U18s are off on Saturday for a cup game against Ellon RFC. Kick off is 12:00 at Meadows Way. On Sunday, a big U14 squad heads over to play Caithness in the Culbean Challenge Competition.Any players not selected for the Orkney team of 22 will have a chance of helping out Caithness U13s against Moray & in doing so play their way into future Orkney sides. 8 Orkney players will play for Caithness against Moray U13 Caithness U13s v Moray KO 12pm Caithness U14s v Orkney KO 2pm Both games will be streamed by Rohallion youtube.com/@rohallionorkney - Watch the future stars of ORFC live! Unfortunately the 1st XV game ve Hamilton Bulls has been postponed due to weather/ferry cancellations and the U14 home game on Sunday is currently under review Great to see so many team in action once again!!
The 13/14 boys are away on Friday night to play Huntly on Saturday. The U13s game kicks off at 11am, with the U14s at 12pm. The U18s are at KGS against Strathmore at noon on Saturday, with the senior men welcoming Boroughmuir to Picky at 1pm Whilst on Sunday, the U16s are away to Inverness to play Highland. The game has been moved back to Inverness due to pitch closure at Ross Sutherland RFC and will kick off at approximately 14:00.
